Who is Julia Ormond and is she married?

Born January 4, 1965, Julia Karin Ormond is an English actress from Epsom, Surrey.

The 54-year-old is the daughter of a laboratory technician and a computer software designer.

She has been married twice, firstly to actor Rory Edwards from 1988 to 1994. Julia also has one daughter Sophie with second husband and political activist Jon Rubin, who she has since split from.

In 2005, she was appointed as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador with her focus on anti-human-trafficking initiatives, a cause she has been active in fighting since the mid-90s.

What has she appeared in?

Julia first appeared on British television in the 1989 serial Traffik and her performance earned her subsequent roles in Young Catherine and Stalin.

In 1993, she made her feature film debut in the lead role of  The Baby of Mâcon before she was cast alongside Brad Pitt in Legends of the Fall the following year.

She has also starred as Guinevere in 1995's First Knight with Richard Gere and Sean Connery before joining Harrison Ford in romantic comedy Sabrina.

In 2010, Julia earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress Temple Grandin and has also been nominated for her performance in Mad Men.
