Watertown superstar Eliza Dushku takes on one of comics’ most iconic heroines in the new animated series, “Marvel’s Hulks and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.,” premiering Sunday at 11 a.m. on Disney XD.

She plays She-Hulk, the Hulk’s cousin, a stuntwoman who decides to use her green muscle to fight evil-doers.

“It’s exciting for me to be introducing She-Hulk to a new generation of kids who aren’t familiar with the Hulks yet,” said the actress, best known for her roles in such TV series as “Dollhouse” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

Dushku is no stranger to voiceover work — she’s performed in several videogames as well as Catwoman in the 2011 Warner Bros. direct-to-DVD release “Batman: Year One.”

“I have this deep, raspy voice, and I’ve always been able to imitate people,” she said.

Through her own company, Boston Diva Productions, she’s editing a documentary on her homeland Albania. Noting the recent political upheaval in that country, she said, “I want to get this story right.”

She has 1.5 million followers on Twitter, but ?@elizadushku’s No. 1 fan may just be her 4-year-old nephew. As for her new role, she said, “He loves it.”

What other review matters?

•    How tweet it is: Catch the Boston Herald’s own Dave Wedge tonight on CNBC’s original documentary “#TwitterRevolution” (at 9 p.m.). CNBC’s Carl Quintanilla will be taking apart the social media phenomenon’s origin and popularity, and also look at the role Twitter played in the Boston Marathon bombings.

•    Irreplaceable: So that’s why Beyonce called her recent tour “The Mrs. Carter Show.” Last night, at the trek’s final U.S. stop this summer at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Jay Z made a surprise appearance. Hova jumped in on the Queen B’s “Bow Down” then performed “Tom Ford” off new disc “Magna Carta Holy Grail.” We think Beyonce needs to return the favor and crash the Jay Z/JT extravaganza in Boston this weekend — Jay and Timberlake play Fenway Park on Saturday and Sunday. We’d settle for Jessica Biel if she had the pipes for “Halo.”
