You have your choice between Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control and low-latency mode for gamers. All that for a lot less than £400? We're amazed too.

Perhaps one of the best gaming televisions on the market right now, Panasonic's TX- 55MZ700B is spectacular in everything from design, to picture quality and, of course, response times. Along with Game Mode and of course, that gorgeous 4K OLED screen, this Panasonic television is mindblowing for gamers. Starting with that 120hz OLED screen, you can enjoy unparalleled black levels, shadows and sheer contrast. You can bet this will make those night-time scenes in your favourite horror games just that much more intense and realistic.

As for the Panasonic 55MZ700B's design, it certainly doesn't disappoint - the screen is only millimetres thick at its thinnest point - giving the screen a refreshingly ultra-modern look. Dolby Atmos, low latency mode and VRR will keep your gaming sessions running smoothly and responsively. Gamers, cinephiles and television binge-watchers alike will be hard-pushed to find a better 4K OLED gaming television.

Despite its reasonable price point, Panasonic's TX-65MX650B doesn't lack clever post-processing software, gorgeous detailed images and excellent build quality. This is yet another Panasonic television bursting with Dolby-optimised picture, along with some HDR goodness, the TX-65MX650B is simply excellent at its price - with natural images looking the best and brighter whites not being quite as crisp as a full-fledged QLED television as you'd expect.

Design-wise, the TX-65MX650B is slim and solid. The screen bezel is narrow, the stand is wide, yet thin and minimalistic - it's a design that brings the best out of the screen. Looks aside, there are one or two nitpicks for us with the TX-65MX650B- namely, its user interface and panel tech. The OS is AndroidTV which, in our opinion, is a little lacking compared to some other brands. An OLED panel would have been nice-to-have, but considering the budget price we're happy with LED. Yet, besides these minor points, Panasonic's TX-65MX650B is a television we wholeheartedly recommend for its size and the raft of features inside.

In our expert review of the PANASONIC TX-48MZ980B TV, we found it to be a top-of-the-line OLED TV with exceptional visuals and above-average sound. The star feature here is, naturally, that gorgeous OLED screen. While we normally recommend OLEDs on TVs with larger screens, we think that 48 inches is a brilliant size for most living rooms - and just because it's not a 65-incher doesn't mean it hasn't got some serious tech inside.

Panasonic has ensured that this TV is brimming with cutting-edge picture enhancement features and smart TV functionality. The HCX Pro AI processor will enhance clarity and contrast and handle upscaling from lower resolutions. Enhanced colour range is there with several flavours of HDR. Surround sound comes from Dolby Atmos for immersion, and the TV refresh rate here is a smooth 120Hz; that means that serious cinema fans, sports fans and gamers will be wowed as they watch or play. Game Mode Extreme tailors the TV to gaming for low latency and more, and you even get Amazon Alexa for voice control. All inside a 48-inch set. Amazing stuff.

For an excellent midrange 4K TV, Panasonic's TX-50MX650B offers a great, natural-looking picture, a range of wonderful image-enhancing software to draw the most out of its gorgeous UHD screen, and a clean design that is perhaps one of our favourites of the year.

Modern Panasonic televisions certainly don't falter in terms of cutting-edge tech design, with gorgeous invisible bezels, and a simple yet refined stand that keeps the TX-50MX650B looking sharp and stable. All in all, we think the aesthetic makes this TV look as though it cost double the asking price.

As for the screen - it is a 4K LED panel rather than OLED, but Dolby Vision gives users a wonderfully rich and detailed view of their favourite films, shows and games. It excels in depicting natural lighting in particular. Our only small gripe with the Panasonic TX-50MX650B is the AndroidTV OS and user interface. For us it doesn't compare to, say, Samsung's TizenOS. Minor complaints aside - Panasonic's TX-50MX650B is one 50-inch television at its price and has a lot to offer users looking for a great deal, without settling for a mediocre screen.

Panasonic does, of course, have other TVs in its range that come with Amazon Fire TV OS - but this one takes the crown here due to its size. Sharing most of the features of its smaller cousins, like Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and HDR, this 2023 model is a whopping 65 inches. We think this is the ideal size for a well-proportioned lounge and will quickly become the centrepiece of the home for all Amazon Prime subscribers.

What better screen to enjoy all those streaming and on-demand shows and movies on - like The Boys, Gen V, Fargo, or Reacher. And of course you still have access to Netflix, Disney+ and other leading subscription services. Game Mode ensures that this is a fully capable 64-inch TV that won't fail to impress.

Small TVs from major brands are few and far between these days, much to the lament of those who have very small bedrooms, kitchens (or even caravans) to put them in. Thankfully, Panasonic is still looking after you here - with this 2023 24-inch model. It's super-affordable too, even with the Panasonic brand and build quality attached. What you won't find is 4K, HDR, OLED or anything else from the rest of the line-up - this is fine in our book; features like that are a little wasted on a screen the size of a small tabloid.

But let's look at what this can bring to your small space: 720p (half HD) resolution, Surround Sound, a headphone out socket, HDMI port and it's even wall-mountable. If you have movies on a USB stick, the port on the TX-24M330B will play back those files too. Best of all, even though this isn't a smart TV, it does have a triple tuner built in. That means you can hook this up to an aerial or dish for Freeview or Freesat for easy viewing.

At the pinnacle of the size tree for the MX800B series is this 75-inch TX-75MX800B. So, much like its siblings, this has the same array of tech features. But let's examine how that 4K LED panel and its image enhancement capabilities translate onto 75 inches of screen real estate. Well, in short, it's stunning. Of course, any larger screen will always have an impact - but here the inclusion of Panasonic's multi-HDR support, HDR Bright Panel Plus technology for brighter images, and Dolby Atmos for sound make for a truly cinematic experience.

And the price? Well, it's the best and one of the most affordable 75-inch TVs out there. While we would (of course) love to have this in an OLED format, the 4K LED panel is excellent, and that brings this in at just over the £1k mark. Astonishing for the money.

However, the only downside we can see with 75-inch TVs is just that - the sheer size and scale of the device. If you're thinking about a TV this big, always factor in the comfortable viewing distance. It may hang on your wall, but can you sit and watch it comfortably? If you can, you're in for a jaw-dropping televisual treat.

One of the more common quibbles that some users have with most TVs is that they wish they could get a soundbar to amp up the sound a bit more. Well, this bundle not only pairs a 55-inch 4K TV with a soundbar - they're both Panasonic products. If, like us, you like to have matching compatible AV kit, this bundle is a great one-stop solution. The Panasonic TX-55HX580BZ TV may be a 2020 model - but don't let that put you off. It's still got the features you need from a modern high-end TV: 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos sound and smart TV apps.

As for the soundbar, it's a Panasonic SC-HTB258EBK which comes with a wireless subwoofer. That's brilliant for allowing you to place the sub wherever it works best without any trailing wires. It really amps up your sound to home theatre-like levels, and Bluetooth connectivity means you can use it as a speaker for your tablet or phone. It's compact and will sit next to that 55-inch TV very nicely indeed. Especially at this price.
