They call it the chupacabra — Spanish for “goat sucker” — a supposedly mythical animal thought to attack goats and cows to drink their blood. And now a Texas family believes they have captured one live.

A video of the hairless animal, about the size of a medium dog, in a cage on their property in Ratcliffe will make you wonder.

Jackie Stock and her husband, Bubba, spotted the animal eating corn in their back garden and locked it in a cage, where they’re feeding it cat food now.

Jackie told WMUR-TV, “He called me to come and look, and I said ‘Bubba, that looks like a baby chupacabra.’”

Wildlife experts say the animal could be a dog, coyote, fox or raccoon with mange that made its hair fall out. But take a look for yourself — it looks a lot more like, well, like a chupacabra.
