Height: This bulb, perennial can grow up to 2 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in full sun to part shade in a dry area.
Foliage: Long, lance shaped, green leaves that die as the plant flowers.
Flowers: Blue to purple bell shaped flower bloom in early summer.
Natural Habitat: Found in grasslands and prairies in dryer areas.
Why is it good for my garden? This bulb is a nice color splash to add to rock areas, along boarders, or mixed with other bulbs to add color. These also can attract butterflies to your area.
