A question as to what was known of the Warau language led to the present compilation. Mons. Lucien Adam's 'Esquisse Grammaticale de la Langue Guarauno' is here reproduced in English, it is based on the 'Questions' of the Rev. W. H. Brett, and these are also given here with a literal translation.
