Victoria Beckham can't help laughing at her old hairstyles.

The fashion designer has been bright blonde and deep brunette during her life, sporting everything from long extensions to a pixie crop and her iconic Pob - Posh bob - style. She revisited some of her old looks while sorting out which of her clothes to sell for charity recently and couldn't believe what she saw.

"I laughed a lot - not just at the clothes, but the hair! The hair has been through some changes, that's for sure," she giggled to British magazine Hello! "It brought back a lot of really happy memories, like the dress I wore years ago to the MTV Awards, which was especially created for me by Dolce & Gabbana. This was when David and I were co-ordinated because that's what we did in those days. We wouldn't do it now, but it was fine at the time. The event was so fun and I remember getting dressed, the hair and the make-up and the beautiful diamonds, and how special I felt when I was putting on that dress."

The piece Victoria was talking about was a long white frock, which was laced up the front and skimmed over her svelte figure.

Last week the star confirmed she is selling off 600 pieces from her wardrobe in collaboration with TheOutnet.com. The money raised will go to mothers2mothers, a charity which aims to stop the spread of HIV and AIDS from mothers to their children.

Many of the items selected have deep meaning for the former Spice Girl, such as a green dress by Louis Féraud she wore during a trip to France in 2008.

"The dress I wore for a weekend in Paris with Katie Holmes. We went to the Chanel show and not only that, we met Karl Lagerfeld for the first time, which was fabulous," she recalled. "I don't take any of these things for granted at all. I enjoy every single moment. I've been so lucky to experience the things that I've experienced and to meet the people that I have met and I want to share that with people."
