I have been using them for almost two years and the pads have worn out so badly and began to chip away with sticky black stuff all over my ears. Today i peeled all of them and my wife made two covers for the ear-pads with my lil' daughters old t shirt.

I just thought of posting it as an idea to RP-HTX7 users out there who has the similar issue

Xb pads were notorious for that thing also. I will most likely have to make custom down the road but with leather for more bas sss ofc. Nice of your wife to do it for you.

Thanks... actually i find them quiet comfortable and bassy now because the inner foam part is still there, only a new cover that fits nicely.
