Bridget Moynahan threatens to sue ex boyfriend for nude photographs ...taken of her when they dated over a decade ago

She's a former model who currently plays a District Attorney on the CBS police drama Blue Bloods.

And now Bridget Moynahan is getting to exercise her legal skills in her real life as she's threatening to sue a photographer - who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend - if he displays naked photos he took over a decade ago.

According to the New York Post, the 43-year-old actress wants Tiff Pemberton to destroy the over 1000 nude pics he has in his possession since she 'never signed a release consenting to use of the snaps.'

Bridget, who has a six-year-old son John with Tom Brady, dated Pemberton, 53, when she was a model about to star in the 2000 movie Coyote Ugly.

The pair dated for around three years, which is when Pemberton is said to have taken the photos.

'It was just a nude shoot,' he told the New York Post.

'We did it kind of drunk. It was kind of funny or what have you.'

In a threatening legal letter drafter by Bridget's lawyers, Pemberton was told: 'Ms. Moynahan . . . has spent her career making sure she did not do images like the photos for any public use/release, and even turned down movies with gratuitous nudity because she always had her family in mind.'

Adding: 'The private photos of her taken during the course of your romantic relationship were intended solely for her and your private personal review.'

'Irrespective of any rights to privately personally look at the photos yourself (which we understand does not go over well with your fiancé), our client certainly never legally consented to the public use of her image and name.'

MailOnline has reached out to representatives for Bridget who have been so far unavailable for comment.
