The spec you really want to know first… how much total power? The total system outputs 2,396 watts RMS (4,792 watts PEAK)!!!
Believe me when I say, you will be blown away. I’ve kept the system in my bedroom over the years and have never pushed it to its full potential because it’s TOO LOUD and I’ve never had the proper space for them. Perfect for music, home theatre and video game setups. Tons of raving reviews online. For detailed specifications, visit: www.laaudiofile.com/z5500.html
Just to be clear, in the photos there's only 10 speakers hooked up and the remaining speakers are wrapped up in the box (last photo).
Q: Can you control all 6 systems with one remote at the same time?
A: Yes, if all of the control modules are close together, it'll work no problem.
Q: I have an Atmos receiver, can I still use these speakers and subs with it?
A: Yes but the speakers are limited to the number of speaker outputs your receiver has (5.1/7.1/9.2/11.2, etc). I've used them with my 9.2ch Pioneer Elite receiver which then became the master.
Q: What are some other types of setups you can use with these?
A: I have an additional splitter that allows me to use my Yamaha HS50m studio monitors with the subs only or if I wanted to, I can use my TV's built-in speakers or a sound bar with say, one sub.
I also like to sync my phone/ tablet to my TV via bluetooth or my computer to my TV via HDMI for Spotify and then use either of them as one master volume.
Q: Can I connect different speakers to the sub's amp?
A: Yes you can, same way you connect any other speakers via bare speaker wire.
Aside from bragging rights, you’ll get:
- 6 subwoofers (1,128 watts RMS total)
- 4 center channel speakers (276 watts RMS total)
- 8 front speakers (496 watts RMS total)
- 8 rear speakers (496 watts RMS total)
- 6 Control modules
- 3 remote controls
- 8-channel splitter with power adapter (room for 2 more systems)
- 7 cables and some speaker wire
