This is an excellent and detailed account of the story of the doomed command of Major Francis Dade as he traveled up the Fort King Road (now 301) on the way to Ocala. Story is very readable and informative. Highly recommend this book by expert Frank Laumer.

The book was great condition.

Great book detailing the Dade Massacre but could have been so much more. A real narrative would have made this "The Killer Angels" of the second Seminole war. As an introduction to a forgotten part of American history this book cannot be more highly recommended.
